Chasing Wildflowers and Waterfalls in Oregon
I was so excited to book a trip out west to visit my friend and mentor, Jennifer Carr, in April of this year. We planned it around the wildflowers blooming and I am not sure the timing could have been any better. While it wasn’t my first trip to the Columbia River Gorge, it was the first time that I spent dedicated time for photography in this area. The waterfalls were amazing, but the wildflowers definitely stole the show. The morning we hiked up into a super bloom was pure magic. Knee deep in a sea of balsam root, I felt immense gratitude for God’s beautiful creation. Photography has brought some wonderful friends into my life and Jenny is truly one of my favorites. She has always inspired me to be a better version of myself. And that is a true blessing. Here are a few images from our trip.
